The aforementioned data is technically necessary to provide you with our websites and to ensure stability and security, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

We use cookies and similar technologies to enable certain functions within our websites. A cookie is a small information package consisting of a pair of data, a key and a value. A cookie is managed by the browser on the user’s device and thus stored there. We may use cookies if they are strictly necessary for the operation of our websites. We delete the data collected in this context once its storage is no longer necessary for these purposes, or restrict processing if statutory retention obligations exist (archiving obligations for business and commercial letters).

 

4.2 Legal Basis(Es) for Data Processing

The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Alternatively, processing takes place in our and your legitimate interest in handling your request, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

 

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Right of access,
  • Right to rectification or erasure,
  • Right to restriction of processing, and
  • Right to data portability.

 

5.1 Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority

5.2 Right to Object to Direct Marketing and Processing Based on our Legitimate Interest

Insofar as we exceptionally process your data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR (legitimate interests), you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your data by us. If we cannot demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for further processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if we process your data for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process your data (cf. Art. 21 GDPR). If we enable you to exercise your right to object, possibly by technical means, we will inform you about this in the individual data processing operations further up in our privacy policy.

 

5.3 Right to Withdraw Consent

You have the right to withdraw any consent given for the collection and use of your data at any time with future effect. The lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal is not affected thereby. Legal bases for the processing of personal data in this context are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the management of the cookies and similar technologies used and the related consents.

The provision of personal data is neither contractually required nor necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are not obliged to provide the personal data. If you do not provide the personal data, we cannot manage your consents.
